Available for adoption

The first step of our adoption application is to fill out our apply to adopt form. We welcome all applications- even if there is not a specific pet listed on here that you are interested in, please apply as we do keep a waiting list for particular requirements. 

Once we have received your application a team member will contact you within 24 hours via email to ask for a video home check, which will need to be emailed or sent via text or whatsapp to one of our rehoming coordinators. Please check your junk/spam folder if you have not heard from us.

Once we have reviewed your home check we will look at potential matches within the rescue that may suit your home and lifestyle. We will then put you in contact with the foster carer of these pets to discuss them in full. At this stage we may arrange a convenient time for you to view the pets.

If you decided to proceed, a rehoming coordinator will then meet you to complete the official adoption by filling out our adoption form. 

All of our adoptions require a minimum donation:

Cats & Kittens- £120 each or £200 a pair.

Senior cats: prices may vary.

Puppies: From £350

Adult dogs: From £250 

Senior dogs: prices may vary. 

Every pet we rehome will be microchipped, have a general health check, at least one vaccination, be flea and worm treated and neutered where appropriate before adoption. Our adoption fee often only covers the basic medical costs of the animals and excludes the other financial factors of their care e.g. food, litter, cleaning supplies and any other treatments required. So if you are able to donate more, we are extremely grateful.

We welcome rehoming enquiries from anyone who meets our criteria. We rehome to any location (not just Chelmsford) We do accept applications for families with young children for certain animals. Council and housing authority properties are also accepted, along with rented properties with the relevant permissions.
